That is a terrific suggestion for the Help Marin section. I should have thought of it myself as that is an organization my whole Real Estate office volunteers for every year. It's a fantastic cause. I will add it to the Help Marin section as soon as I am able.
I recently discovered an organization that I think would be appropriate to add to the organizations listed on this site under the "Help Marin" tab above.
The organization is called "Rebuilding Together Marin" and the website is http://rebuildingtogethermarin.org/. They are a group of volunteers who annually go out and work on projects such as painting houses etc. for the poor, elderly and disabled members of our community.
It sounds like a wonderful organization. Their annual work day happens in April.
Anyone ever volunteered for this organization? Please let us know what you thought of the organization.
