Halloween Stories?

No stories, I find it interesting how different neighborhoods have such varied degrees of activity. (And I mean little kids coming to the door, not 14 yr olds)

I can see the hilly/long driveway type places not getting any, but I've lived in some tract house hoods that you would think were perfect and few showed up.

When I was young, Uptown Mill Valley, like say from Mt Carmel on Buena Vista to Boyle Park and back to Walnut then Sycamore and around was great.

I was there a couple years ago on Hallowee and it reminded me of the old days.
Kind of a special night.

But I also don't blame people who turn off the lights and go out to dinner and a movie.

Anyone have any unique Halloween/Trick or Treating memories?

I remember the morning after Halloween in Kentfield, Laurel Grove always used to be covered with smashed pumpkins and shaving cream.
