Was the name of the track Kings Raceway? I was down there every weekend with my cars and loved the figure eight track. used to mix lighter fluid and i think eucalyptus oil to put on the tires so my car would stick in the corners. Went to the one in Larkspur a few times. Anyone remember what it cost to run your car?

Another one was on Magnolia Ave in Larkspur about where Rulli Caffe is, and since Rulli has four storefronts it would be safe to say that's exactly where it was !

I took my re-wound homemade hot rod to the Mill Valley spot which I believe was that building that later the Post Office sorted the mail (across from City Hall as mentioned)

How long and what years do you remember these places ?

For me the Summer of '65 is all I can zero in on.

There used to two slot car tracks in San Rafael. One was on 4th street and the other was in the Woodland area. That one was called Blue Streak Raceway.

I remember going down to the slot car tracks across the street from the Mill Valley Police Station. We would spend hours down there. I even had my own car that I ran on the tracks..
