Right. There was also a miniature-golf operation on the same site. I don't remember which was first, though. Yes, and then Victoria Station. I was an original employee there. Couldn't stand it. Too corporate. They fed employees leftover kitchen slop. I was on staff on opening night, and quit after two weeks. I was the first guy to vamoose!
There was also a guy who had a business restoring old Pullman-style railcars around there. He leased about 400 feet of NWP right-of-way, above where the Airporter is now, before you come to the Cal Park tunnel.
Yes, there was a go cart track next to the railroad trestle in Greenbrae. It later was replaced by the Victoria Station restaurant. We use to go to the go cart track and see the trains pass by on the railroad.
Yes thanks for that memory!! I went there a lot w/my little brothers and my dad and I am remembering it was in a big lot where the Marin Airporter is now - I am pretty sure but correct me anyone else if I am wrong.
