Here's a couple shots my sister took of a Larkspur/Corte Madera firemen's hose fight in June 1947, I imagine as part of the 49er Fiesta.

It would start on the 3rd with the C.M. Fire Department vs Larkspur Fire Department water fight and then the street dance afterwords. Or when the would shoot the fireworks off from the marsh in Corte Madera.
