These are always a whole lot of fun. The Cunninghams have a raft of fascinating information about the history of Larkspur and its buildings, and are always adding to it. I learn something new every time.
From the Park & Rec brochure:
Historic Downtown
The Historic District of downtown Larkspur includes buildings and sites spanning more than 150 years of activity. Many of the commercial buildings on Magnolia Avenue still echo the bustle of Larkspurs growth during the 1890s and 1920s. The tour roams around (and into!) those buildings, the Rose Bowl site, and the old train depot.

Historic Baltimore Park
Larkspurs Baltimore Park began development as a subdivision in 1907. It contains a rich mixture of original-condition homes representing many of the architectural styles popular in California during the first half of the nineteenth century. Its older history includes an 1849 sawmill, hay fields, and a circa 1914 railroad station. Many of the homes were built by Larkspurs leading citizens. This tour includes the sites of the sawmill and train station, as well as a yard visit to several of the distinctive homes of the neighborhood.
