Searching online for American Land and Trust Co. I turned up this 1887 map of Larkspur, all neatly parceled out for sale.

I just got this amazing early handbill, printed on tissue-thin paper as was standard for such advertising meant to be pasted onto fences and posts. The hotel was built in 1895, the RR station in 1891, so I'm unsure of the reference to "New R.R. Depot."



$1500 for a large lot was a chunk of money then!
