I played in the early 60's for Herbs Sport Shop. Dad was the manager. I was the smallest player on the team and my dad would get angry if I ever swung at a pitch. I walked a lot which was his point. I had a very good on base percentage.
Anyone play little league baseball in San Rafael in the early 1960's? I played for the " Jack L Hunt" team in 1962. It was one of the defining experiences in my life. My Coach was a great man named Earl Comminsky, oddly enough he was was my boss at the Marin County Sheriffs Dept. Many years later. I would love to know if there was anyone out there from those Little league days, and maybe see some pictures to refresh my fading memories! I went to West End School in San Rafael, (off and on) as we moved about through Marin County in those days. For some reason we always ended up back in the part of San Rafael that brought my sisters and myself back to West end School.
